High definition display adapter for the Intel 10M50 Max 10 Evaluation kit
The HDMI to OpenLDI converter allows developers to easily interface the Intel Max 10 FPGA with HDMI streaming video, supporting the conversion of video resolutions up to 1080p60 to dual link OpenLDI.
The converter is designed to plug directly into the Intel 10M50 evaluation kit, connecting to the dual LVDS differential headers capable of receiving OpenLDI. With 1080p60, the OpenLDI interface operates at 520 Mb/s per lane, and is compatible with speeds up to 640 Mb/s per lane.
The HDMI to OpenLDI converter is an easy way to attach reliable high speed video input to the 10M50 evaluation kit, already equipped with a 1080p60 capable HDMI output. With the 50K LUTs and LPDDR2 memory available, the combination makes the 10M50 evaluation kit a compelling option for the development of high speed video processing applications.
The FPGA and the ADV7611 are controlled by I2C from the Nios II CPU on the 10M50 Evaluation kit.
The onboard FPGA offers a JTAG port and can be adapted by the user for different purposes if necessary.
